SNAPKIS Aeromesh is a German technology that has been developed and tested for superior air permeability properties. The 3-dimensional lattice structure has been engineered to resist compression, creating and maintaining robust sleep surfaces with excellent support of up to 250 points per inch. Extensively tested for air permeability (ISO 9237:1995) and water vapour permeability (ISO 15496:2018) with an ILAC-certified international laboratory, the Aeromesh is up to 15 times more permeable to air, and up to 4 times more permeable to water than conventional fabrics.
The 3D construction of the mesh creates space between layers allows ample air circulation and ventilation. The exceptional wicking property of the Aeromesh aids in drawing away excess moisture vapour from the skins surface. Highly porous materials significantly reduce the risk of suffocation, a leading cause of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). High air and water vapour permeability properties also play a part in inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mould, dust mites and fungus within the mesh layers. Certified Oeko-Tex 100, the Aeromesh has been independently tested to be free from more than 100 harmful substances, including formaldehydes, DMF (Dimenthyl Fumarate) and azo dyes with an ILAC-certified testing facility. The hypoallergenic material is safe for use even with sensitive skin.
